Serenity project launch: AI for nursing homes

In France, the nursing home sector is going through an unprecedented crisis. Between staff shortages, media scandals and communication difficulties with families, elderly care facilities face major challenges. It is in this context that UNYRA launches Serenity, an ambitious project that aims to leverage artificial intelligence to transform resident care.
A Partnership with Groupe Arpavie
To develop and test this solution, UNYRA has partnered with Groupe Arpavie, a leading operator of elderly care facilities in France. A nursing home located in the Île-de-France region has been selected as the pilot facility for Serenity's MVP (Minimum Viable Product).
The objective is clear: design a tool that can concretely improve the daily lives of residents, caregivers and families, building on real-world conditions.
AI as a Driver of Transformation
The Serenity specifications are being drafted, but the vision is already defined. Artificial intelligence will be at the heart of the system, with three main pillars:
- Detection: identifying early signals related to residents' health status.
- Prediction: anticipating health changes to enable early intervention.
- Recommendation: providing caregivers with precise and contextualized information to improve the quality of care.
Why This Project Matters
The nursing home crisis is not just a French problem. Around the world, the aging population raises questions about the dignity and quality of elderly care. Serenity positions itself as a technological and human response to this societal challenge.
UNYRA is committed to developing Serenity ethically, always placing people at the center of technological thinking. The coming months will be dedicated to building the prototype and conducting the first real-world tests.
