Thomas Da Silva takes on skiing: first red runs for the blind surfer

Thomas Da Silva, The Blind Surfer, knows no limits. After waves, it's time for snow: accompanied by the UNYRA team, Thomas headed to Courchevel for his first skiing sessions. And the results exceeded all expectations.
First Time on Snow
For someone who has never seen a mountain, strapping on skis and racing down a slope is a feat in itself. Thomas did that, and much more:
- First red runs within the first days, a level many sighted skiers take years to reach.
- First jumps at the snowpark, where Thomas chained tricks with disarming ease.
- First thrills on the snow, described by Thomas as "surfing on solid ground."
Goal: A Record Next Winter
This trip to Courchevel was not just a one-time experience. Thomas now has a clear objective: setting a record next winter. Details are yet to be defined, but knowing Thomas, we can expect something spectacular.
Thank You, Courchevel
A huge thank you to the Courchevel resort for its welcome and support during this adventure. This type of partnership is essential for Thomas to push his limits under the best possible conditions.
Thomas's skiing adventure is one to follow closely. In the meantime, footage of his feats on the slopes is available on UNYRA's social media channels.
